Job description

RCA - Resident Care Aide

The Resident Care Aide provides assistance with ADLs to our Assisted Living and Memory Care Residents while contributing to an environment where Residents can strengthen their sense of well being and achieve optimal levels of unrestricted living

Qualified RCA's should be motivated team-players who are passionate about working with seniors in an environment of Respect and Joy! Bring your customer service excellence and join the Rivers of Grosse Pointe Woods Assisted Living to become part of our passionate and innovative healthcare team! Our Mission is to be a premier health and rehabilitation center by exceeding the expectations of our Residents, Families of Residents, and Employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other departments to meet the needs of Residents

  • Observe and monitor any change in Resident condition and report to Nurse Supervisor

  • Assist Residents with personal care including dental care, bathing and grooming, dressing, bowel and bladder care, and other personal and hygiene care

  • Make beds and change bed linens, as needed

  • Other duties as assigned
