SUMMARY

Duties and responsibilities include the inspection of machined parts, finished assemblies, and received parts and castings consistent with established standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Daily Duties:

  • Inspection of parts and assemblies produced throughout the facility using gages, calipers, and other measurement devices.
  • Daily QA checks such as leak tests, torque machine and grease applicators, taper checks, and groove checks.
  • Inspection of incoming materials.
  • Participate in work center process audits.
  • Inspection and calibration of gages and tools being used.
  • Perform SPC and CMM checks.
  • Assist with training of proper inspection techniques to production co-workers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Team Player
