Job description

SkyBridge Tactical is a Prime Contractor for MSOFS and a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Tampa, FL, founded in 2008 to support our customers’ global security, operational and training needs, focusing on mission success in the most challenging environments. SBT current contracts address U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Department of State (DoS) demand for highly skilled professionals to solve problems in the interest of national security.
Position is contingent on award.
Position Summary: Perform maintenance and repair on surface support craft, jet skis, trailers, and outboard/inboard propulsion systems supporting NSW maritime operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair light surface craft, jet skis, trailers, and various outboard and inboard motor systems.
  • Support troubleshooting and repair of propulsion, steering, electrical, lighting, controls, and accessory systems.
  • Perform trailer brake, axle, bearing, lighting, and tire repair/replacement in accordance with manufacturer guidance.
  • Provide on-the-job training support to entry-level military and civilian mechanics when required.
  • Help maintain equipment availability and readiness across the maritime fleet.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of OEM-certified mechanic experience with Evinrude, Honda, Mercury, Suzuki, or Yamaha commercial small outboard engines and ancillary equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting inboard marine diesel engines and waterjet systems as required by the PWS.
  • Ability to work safely around maritime equipment, trailers, and shop environments.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
