Job description

Epic Personnel Partners is hiring a Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing facility in Windsor, CT. This company specializes in advanced surface treatments and precision manufacturing for industries like aerospace, defense, and automotive. This role requires hands-on experience with the setup, operation, and breakdown of machinery. Under direct supervision, you will ensure machines are properly prepared, operate efficiently, and produce high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Setup & Operation: Prepare and operate surface treatment and production equipment according to established procedures and safety standards.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, calibration, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Monitor machine operations and product quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, maintenance activities, and production outputs.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical/Trade School preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Required: Hands-on experience with machine setup, operation, and breakdown.
