Production Associate – 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour (includes shift differential)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Overtime: Fridays, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM, as needed. Mandatory overtime is a condition of employment.
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and motivated Production Associates to join our manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for candidates with entry-level manufacturing or general labor experience who are looking to develop their skills in a production environment.
The Production Associate will assist with operating production machinery, assembling reels, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a safe and efficient work area. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, calibrate, clean, and adjust production machinery as needed.
  • Feed raw materials into semi-automated production equipment.
  • Operate machinery safely and monitor equipment during production.
  • Assemble reels and components using various hand tools.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and identify defects or inconsistencies.
  • Use precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers, as required.
  • Perform minor troubleshooting and make basic machine adjustments when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Cross-train on additional machinery and production processes as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and quality goals.
Qualifications
  • 6 months to 1 year of general labor, manufacturing, production, or related experience preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn production equipment.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to perform physical production work throughout the shift.
  • Willingness and ability to work required overtime, including Fridays when scheduled.
  • Ability to consistently wear all required PPE.
