Library Secretary- 10 Month
The library secretary manages the district's textbook and library resource operations by overseeing textbook distribution and collection, maintaining accurate inventory records, and analyzing inventory data to support purchasing decisions.
Some of what you will do:
Oversee the checkout/check-in process during the spring and fall.
Manage inventory analyzing data to provide staff and administration for purchasing decisions.
Work with teachers and administrators to ensure textbooks are available when needed and appropriate number of textbooks for curriculum needs.
Maintain working conditions of the collection, repairing damaged books, or replacing them if necessary.
Recover missing and overdue textbooks, assess fines.
Work with Lincoln Center to format and upload fine reports into Powerschool, quarterly.
Process bills and maintain the library budget using iVisions
Create a monthly budget report.
Maintain a list of Chromebook insurance purchases.
Work with bookkeepers to maintain fine and fee processing.
Maintain catalogs and inventory using Destiny.
Checkout, return and shelve books.
Proctor exams as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Who we are looking for:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One year of experience and/or one year of secretarial training; or an equivalent combination of experience and training as determined by the District.
Essential functions of the position include the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Current entry level salary range is $19.43-$20.70 per hour depending on applicable relevant work experience as determined by the District and includes a comprehensive benefit package consisting of paid sick and vacation leave, 9 holidays, 3 personal days, up to 9 school calendar related days, health benefits, and retirement.
