Job description

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Marketing Graphic Design Contractor will be a part time position (20 hours per week) that supports the Marketing team in bringing the Tropical Smoothie Cafe brand to life through creative initiatives. This role will focus on developing branded creative assets in-house to support a variety of requests across local marketing, social media, digital marketing and more. The contractor will collaborate closely with internal teams and agency partners to ensure creative consistency and alignment across all touchpoints.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Support the Brand Marketing team in creating a variety of digital and print creative assets, including (but not limited to) organic and paid social media content, local store marketing materials (flyers, bounce backs, yard signs), third-party delivery graphics, Zoom backgrounds and more.
  • Collaborate with the Brand amp; Digital Marketing teams to develop creative assets such as email graphics, mobile app visuals, web elements, etc.
  • Assist in slide design for leadership and company-wide presentations.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing deadlines and maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Prepare final production files optimized for various platforms, ensuring compatibility, accuracy, and technical quality.
  • Maintain organized asset libraries and support version control across campaigns.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Canva, Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience creating assets for social media channels, both story and in-feed post on platforms including, but not limited to: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply basic marketing concepts used in the development of marketing plans
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organization and timeline management skills
  • Willingness to be flexible and take on multiple tasks
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build working relationships through collaboration to successfully complete projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including detailed PPT design needs
  • Some experience with light product retouching
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Recently graduated or pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or related field
OFFICE CONDITIONS
General office working conditions. Onboarding 5hrs/week for the first month, in person – remaining work can be virtual, unless otherwise noted for a specific collaboration need.
