Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer in our Broomfield office with hands-on experience implementing and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in dynamic environments, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating across teams to ensure reliable and secure network performance.

What you'll do:

  • Deploy and maintain network infrastructure across LAN, WAN and wireless environments
  • Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and access points
  • Provide support for Webex Calling, including user set up, device configuration, and basic call flow troubleshooting
  • Monitor network performance using appropriate tools, and proactively identify bottlenecks, capacity issues, and potential points of failure
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Implement and enforce network security best practices, including firewall rules, network segmentation, and access control policies
  • Manage IP addressing schemes, VLAN configurations, subnetting, and routing protocols
  • Support and maintain site-to-site and client VPN solutions, ensuring secure remote connectivity for users and systems
  • Work with other IT teams to support user connectivity, collaboration tools, and application access
  • Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and hardware refreshes with minimal downtime
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation including network diagrams, configurations, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support for critical network incidents and outages
  • Perform regular network audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards
  • Automate routine network tasks using scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) where applicable
  • Work with vendors and service providers for issue resolution, hardware procurement, and service optimization

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Solid experience in network engineering or administration.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP)
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and subnetting
  • Experience with routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, STP)
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Meraki, Dell, Juniper)
  • Experience with Cisco ISE for TACACS and Radius Authentication
  • Solid knowledge of Meraki SDWAN and Wireless
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible)
  • Experience with cloud networking concepts and services
