Job description

Ferrous Processing and Trading (FPT) is one of North America's premier processors, buyers, sellers and recyclers of scrap metals of all kinds and is a key supplier to the metals industry of North America. FPT is a wholly-owned business of Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for an IT Network Intern. The intern will collaborate with internal teams to gather and translate information into clear, organized content, while supporting day-to-day efforts to maintain the company's brand, messaging, and online visibility.
Summary of Responsibilities:
• Organize and develop content from collected information for internal and external communications
• Assist with website content updates, including adding and editing text, images, and announcements
• Help ensure consistency in branding and messaging across digital channels
• Assist in maintaining and updating the company's social media platforms, including drafting and scheduling posts
• Support efforts to enhance the company's online presence and visibility
• Review and update Google Business listings and other online directories for accuracy
• Monitor online reviews, comments, and engagement, and flag items as needed
• Assist with general marketing, communications, and research projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma/GED or may consider 1+ years of equipment operator experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a professional environment, including coordinating meetings and supporting information-gathering discussions
• Ability to organize and synthesize information into clear, structured content
• Familiarity with social media platforms and an interest in digital content and communications
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a team environment
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with content management systems or website editing tools is a plus
• Pre-Employment background, physical, and hair drug screen required
