Job Summary:
bdManagedIT is seeking an entry-level IT Help Desk Technician who will serve as the first line of support for clients. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues and providing assistance through various communication channels while collaborating with senior technicians.
Responsibilities:
โข Respond to phone, chat, and ticket requests
โข Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, printer, password, and connectivity issues
โข Document troubleshooting steps and ticket resolutions in our PSA
โข Escalate issues with clear notes when needed
โข Perform daily health checks, patch reviews, and basic maintenance tasks
โข Collaborate with senior technicians for smooth issue resolution
Qualifications:
Required:
โข Entry-level IT Help Desk Technician
โข Enjoys helping people, troubleshooting technical issues, and growing into a long-term career in IT
โข Respond to phone, chat, and ticket requests
โข Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, printer, password, and connectivity issues
โข Document troubleshooting steps and ticket resolutions in our PSA
โข Escalate issues with clear notes when needed
โข Perform daily health checks, patch reviews, and basic maintenance tasks
โข Collaborate with senior technicians for smooth issue resolution
โข Ideal for recent graduates or early-career IT professionals with approximately 0โ12 months of hands-on support experience, internship, or technical support exposure
โข Strong Windows and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills
โข Strong communication skills and customer empathy
โข Must be within daily commuting distance of Madison, GA
Preferred:
โข Experience with ticketing or remote support tools
โข CompTIA A+ or equivalent knowledge
