An established international food manufacturing company is seeking a QC candidate.

  • Required BS degree in a related field
  • Salary: $22.50 – 23:00/hr.
  • Full benefit: Medical/Dental/Vision, Life insurance, 401K, Holiday, vacation pay/Sick leave

Schedule: Monday - Friday 03:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

Requirements of the Quality Control Technician:

  • 4-year college degree in science or a related field
  • Familiar with food safety systems and good manufacturing processes
  • Knowledgeable with food plant sanitation and ATP testing procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
  • Math and writing skills
  • Aseptic techniques
  • Attention to detail

Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician:

  • Raw Material checking: Check the integrity of incoming raw materials and documentation
  • Intermediate product testing: Check weight and hardness to ensure products are within the "standard range"
  • Finished Product testing: Check weight, hardness, dimensions, and sensory test to ensure products are within specifications.
  • Microbiological testing
  • Instrument calibration
  • Generate reports using Microsoft Excel, Work and PowerPoint
  • Audit participation (Internal and 3rd party)
  • Familiarization with food safety systems and good manufacturing process
  • Able to walk, squat, bend, turn, sit, and lift up to 50lbs
