Job Summary

As a CDL Truck Driver, your primary focus is safety. You'll act as a professional ambassador for our company, delivering quality goods and exceptional customer service. If you love the open road and value your time at home, a position with Associated Food Stores is the ideal choice! Most runs are out-and-back on the same day, and you'll be compensated not just for miles driven, but for various other essential transportation activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination.
  • Assist with unloading using a pallet jack when needed.
  • Perform multi-stop deliveries to diverse retailers, ensuring delivery accuracy and exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of the tractor and trailer.
  • Maintain safety by adhering to company, FMCSA, and DOT regulations during equipment operation.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and professional standards.
Position Requirements
  • Minimum age of 23.
  • One year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience required; two years preferred.
  • No history of DUI or drug/alcohol-related driving convictions.
  • Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred (training available).
  • Ability to safely inspect and operate trucks and equipment.
  • Valid Idaho CDL Class A and medical card.
  • Professional, reliable, and punctual, with knowledge of delivery routes and highways.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate professionally with partners.
  • Capacity to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
  • Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening.
