Job description

Well-established manufacturers representative selling industrial water and steam equipment seeks a starting position candidate to be an inside sales engineer marketing our product lines to existing and prospective customers. The right individual has a strong mechanical and some electrical aptitude and can converse easily with our clients about our products. This unique individual is not satisfied with acceptable customer service – we pride ourselves on always seeking the best solution for the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell industrial pumps, valves, and water treatment equipment to new and existing customers
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments
  • Create sales material to present to customers

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of industrial pump or steam equipment is preferred
  • Computer proficiency is required
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
