Job description

With 90 years of experience in the uniform and textile garment rental industries, Prudential Overall Supply takes pride in knowing we are a leader in our industry. Prudential Overall Supply is looking to hire and entry level Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. We are searching for an energetic and goal driven individual who is looking to part of a great team. If you are looking for a great company to work for, look no further. This is a full-time position, NOT seasonal.

Qualifications:

  • Some experience repairing industrial processing equipment in and industrial or cleanroom environment. Applicable military experience strongly considered.
  • Proficient in the proper use of power tools, forklifts, manlifts, and hand tools.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, electrical wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other diagrams.
  • Highschool Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior Experience in the assignment of tasks and goals is preferred.
  • Experience in boiler operation, wastewater processing, HVAC system operation, and general facility repair.
  • Prior experience operating and/or maintaining industrial washers, dryers, steam tunnels, automated folders, conveyors, boilers, overhead hoists, and reverse osmosis water treatment equipment a plus.
  • Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply

Essential Functions:

  • Performing preventative maintenance, repairing, and installing industrial equipment, water systems, and other industrial systems.
  • Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues with guidance from Plant Management.
  • Perform carpentry, painting, custodial, and other general facility maintenance.
  • Participation in safety committee to maintain and promote a culture of safe practices
  • Must be able to follow instructions and complete assignments in a timely and safe manner.
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Working with other employees in a cooperative and professional way.
  • Ability to work off shift hours or weekends to accomplish special projects and overhauls.
  • Other duties as required
