Job description

The industrial maintenance technician will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the machinery and upkeep of machinery through preventative maintenance. This position will require multi-craft knowledge in all areas of industrial maintenance that will include, but not limited to, HVAC, PLC's, Hydraulics, Electrical, High Voltage, Conveyers and facility maintenance.
Responsibilities
  • Industrial Maintenance Tech should have experience with multi-craft manufacturing maintenance for machines and other equipment. This will include, but not limited to, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Responsibilities for manufacturing equipment, installations and building maintenance.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic, including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gauges and test equipment.
  • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment, during production hours.
  • Perform preventative maintenance of production equipment.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders or blueprints to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and necessary adjustments to machinery.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of conveyers, vacuum sealers, packaging and boiler operations will be helpful.
  • Adherence to LOTO, PPE, HACCP and Sanitation requirements.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • This position will require overtime and working extended hours.

Qualifications
  • Preferred 5 years Industrial Maintenance in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred 5 years of Mechanical and Electrical skills.
  • Preferred 5 years of hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.
  • Boiler and conveyer systems experience will be helpful.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products.

Education
  • Certification or degree in Industrial Maintenance from an accredited institution.
