Job description

TITLE: HRIS Coordinator

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Human Resources Manager

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

GENERAL SUMMARY: The HRIS Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate HR data and supporting the day-to-day administration of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role ensures data integrity, assists with system updates and enhancements, and provides support for reporting and HRIS maintenance activities. Additionally, the HRIS Coordinator supports the administration and ongoing upkeep of compensation, performance management, and job evaluation systems, ensuring all processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational standards.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions:

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee information into the HRIS database under the 

direction of the HRIS Specialist.

• Ensure HR system data integrity by running routine audits and assisting with data corrections as needed.

• Keep employee records up to date by processing employee status changes and evaluations in a timely 

fashion and in conjunction with the payroll schedule.

• Provide HRIS support including, but not limited to, researching and resolving basic HRIS issues, 

unexpected system results, and process errors; monitor user roles and access. Escalate more complex 

issues to the HRIS Specialist and/or system vendor via Support Portal as needed.

• Provide assistance to end-users for needs such as password resets and basic system navigation. Assist 

in developing and updating user procedures.

• Deliver routine reports and respond to ad hoc data requests, as assigned.

• Liaise with various departments in system implementation, upgrades, and modifications under the 

guidance of the HRIS Specialist.

• Assist with HRIS database maintenance, including updating organizational structures, jobs and positions, 

and other system tables as directed.

• Support administration of performance and compensation programs by ensuring accurate data entry and 

system updates.

• Provide timely and concise status communications regarding performance evaluations to managers and 

supervisors, as applicable.

• Assist with salary survey data collection and preparation as needed.

• Collaborate with departments to ensure job descriptions and evaluations are up to date and reviewed as 

required.

• Ensure confidentiality in all departmental matters.

• Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.

• Supports open door policy in accordance with GICW policy.

• Must demonstrate willingness and ability to adhere to all GICW policies and procedures, CARF 

standards, Kaizen guidelines, and safety and security regulations.

Incidental Functions:

• Perform miscellaneous duties, as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Specific:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Two years of progressive Human Resources experience; HRIS or related systems experience preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

• Able to work independently and prioritize workload.

• Must be detail-oriented and accurate.

• Able to maintain confidentiality.

• Must be able to function independently in a work setting.

• Must maintain consistent, predictable and satisfactory attendance and punctuality as scheduled.

• Must be able to demonstrate upon request functional literacy and numeric proficiency.

• Must have command of the English language sufficient to verbally communicate with the general public.
