Job description

The Powersports Sales Consultant plays a key role in engaging a diverse customer base, including beginner and experienced riders, commercial clients, and leisure buyers. Operating primarily in retail showrooms, outdoor demo events, and online sales platforms, this role requires comprehensive knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs/UTVs, personal watercraft, and all related powersports products. The consultant supports customers through every stage of the buying process, from initial consultation to post-sale follow-up, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer consultations to understand needs and recommend appropriate powersports products
  • Maintain thorough product knowledge across motorcycles, ATVs/UTVs, and personal watercraft
  • Facilitate sales transactions both in-store and online
  • Coordinate and manage test drives and outdoor demo events
  • Assist customers with financing options and programs
  • Engage in regular follow-up to provide post-sale support and build customer relationships
