Day to day:ย  Insight Global is seeking an Epic HB Analyst.ย The Epic HB Analyst is responsible for the ongoing support, optimization, configuration, and maintenance of Epic Hospital Billing (HB) applications to ensure efficient revenue cycle operations and high-quality end-user support. This individual manages a portfolio of support tickets, prioritizing work appropriately and resolving issues related to billing workflows, claims processing, charge capture, reimbursement, and system functionality. Analysts participate in the design, build, testing, implementation, and enhancement of Epic HB solutions while collaborating closely with operational stakeholders and revenue cycle teams. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills to identify root causes, recommend solutions, and drive issue resolution for both routine and complex application concerns. Analysts work directly with end users to gather requirements, evaluate workflow improvements, and implement system optimizations that improve efficiency and user experience. The team rotates queue responsibilities, and when assigned to the queue, the analyst serves as the primary point of contact for incoming requests, assigns work to team members, answers questions, and manages escalations. On non-queue days, the analyst focuses on independently managing and resolving assigned tickets, projects, and enhancement requests. The position involves participation in regular team meetings and collaboration sessions with Epic to review upgrades, enhancements, and best practices. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Epic HB workflows, system build, testing methodologies, and revenue cycle operations, along with the ability to support users across multiple departments. Success in this role requires exceptional customer service, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills while balancing operational support and ongoing optimization initiatives.
