Electronics Assembler (Soldering) | Fort Walton Beach, Florida, United States Electronics Assembler (Soldering) - Fort Walton Beach, FL Onsite | 6-Month Contract | 1st Shift | 9/80 Work Schedule [About the Role] Indotronix is seeking motivated Electronics Assemblers (Soldering) to join our dynamic team in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This onsite, entry-level opportunity is ideal for individuals eager to launch or advance their career in electronics manufacturing. You'll play a vital role in producing high-quality assemblies that power advanced technologies, all while gaining hands-on training in industry best practices. [Responsibilities] - Assemble, wire, and solder circuit boards, small parts, and subassemblies based on layout diagrams, schematics, and instructions - Install components on chassis, circuit boards, and panels using soldering tools and equipment - Route and attach wires and connectors to form complete circuitry and connect assemblies to power supplies - Execute intermediate assembly tasks, including potting, encapsulation, cleaning, coating, epoxy bonding, stamping, etching, and color coding - Wire cable assemblies, install and mount hardware, and perform touch-up painting on finished assemblies - Prepare production machinery utilizing visual aids, drawings, and verbal/written instructions - Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, controlled work environment - Support additional tasks as assigned, including occasional work outside or extended hours [Required Skills and Experience] - High School diploma or GED - Willingness to learn electronics soldering and assembly techniques - Previous exposure to manufacturing environments preferred but not required - Ability to use hand and power tools, with manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks - Capable of sitting, standing, and lifting up to 30 pounds as part of daily operations [Preferred Skills] - Familiarity with J-STD-001 soldering standards [Benefits] - Hands-on, paid training for candidates new to electronics assembly - Opportunity to develop in-demand skills in a high-growth industry - Supportive team environment with mentorship and advancement possibilities - Steady first-shift schedule with 9/80 work arrangement for better work-life balance - Experience working with advanced technology and high-quality equipment [How to Apply] Ready to start your electronics assembly career?
