PLEX Solutions, A Part of Markon, is looking for an Entry Level Technical Writer to join a fast-paced program in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.  This is a customer facing role and requires a polished and professional candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
  • Writes and edits technical documentation for all of the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration and how-to documentation.
  • Creates code documentation for software; produces implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; provides field, data definition, and data flow documentation and formats technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources.
Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph 
  • Two (2) years experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

  • Associate's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. (OR) Two (2) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for an Associate's degree.

  • Tasks include working with the customers senior leadership to prepare and review documents with graphics for internal and external distribution.

Salary RangeUSD $80,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
