Job description

Position Summary:
Entry-level Engineer to support R&D within the Cleaning & Sterilization (C&S) group. This role blends engineering fundamentals with hands-on lab/process work, focused on developing and validating cleaning and sterilization processes for complex medical devices.
Job Responsibilities/ Requirements: 
  • Support the development of cleaning and sterilization processes
  • Assist with testing, validation, and data collection
  • Contribute to technical documentation and reporting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams
  • Participate in process development activities (soiling, cleaning, extraction)

Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or a related science/engineering degree is required
  • 1-2 years of work or internship experience.
  • Comfortable working in lab/testing environments (standing for extended periods)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong engineering principles and analysis skills to resolve technical challenges
  • Excellent collaboration and teaming skills
  • Able to partner with internal and external resources to help ensure completion of launch deliverables
  • Assist the process team as needed with soiling, cleaning, and extraction process development
  • An understanding of design control; design verification and validation
  • Ability to support the creation of required documentation, (test protocols, reports, etc...), create and speak to slides for presentations
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment is highly preferred.
  • Experience in med device is preferred
  • Able to stand for 4 or more hours at a time
