A Design Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline. In this job, you will support design for tooling for building aircraft engines. Job Duties: * Support equipment design and development * Design, including concept sketches and layouts * Preparation of specifications and design calculations * Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by subordinate engineers, designers, and vendors * Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors. * Presenting engineering design review presentations Requirements: * BS or MS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline * Skilled with Microsoft Office tools and possess some knowledge of modeling and analysis using one or more tools * Knowledge of industry standard practices and project organization; task supervision by * design/drafting personnel. * Experience with stress analysis, technical writing, and manufacturing process * Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized and possess excellent communication abilities * Legal authorization to work in the US required and has or able to get security clearance Preferred: * Experience with NX or other modeling software * Experience with ANSYS Compensation: We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $58,240 to $66,560 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
