Job description

Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking candidates interested in Contracts Administration to support different functions within Peraton, either as a summer intern or full-time entry level employment. Internships and full-time positions are predominantly in the Northern Virginia/ Washington DC Metro area. A hybrid schedule of remote and onsite work may be available but must live in the area to support onsite efforts.
This posting is intended to build a pipeline of qualified candidates to support current and future contract operation's needs. While hires may not be made directly from this posting, applicants will be considered for upcoming opportunities aligned to business demand.
Peraton is seeking detail-oriented professionals eager to contribute to the integrity and efficiency of our contract operations processes. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the intake, setup, and lifecycle management of contract awards and modifications within Peraton's Contracts Lifecycle Management (CLM) system. Your work will directly support compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory reporting initiatives across the enterprise.
Our Contracts Operations team operates in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment that supports mission-critical government programs. This role will contribute to maintaining high standards of data accuracy, compliance oversight, and contractual workflow execution - including support for Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and contract closeout processes.
In this role, responsibilities may include:
  • Supporting the intake and setup of contract awards and modifications, ensuring required data elements are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal service level agreements.
  • Monitoring key CDM metrics and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with Sub-Contracts Centers of Excellence and sector partners to support compliant and efficient NDA execution.
  • Reviewing contractual documentation to ensure proper configuration within Peraton's CLM system in support of audit preparedness and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Conducting contract data research and corrective actions to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Participating in daily stand-up meetings to provide status updates and address workflow impediments.
  • Partnering with Contract Administrators, Sub-Contracts leadership, and other stakeholders to maintain high data quality standards.
  • Assisting with contract operations initiatives and special projects as business needs evolve.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • In the process of pursuing or completing an associates in Contract Management or a BS/BA or MS/MA degree preferably in Contract Management. 2026 graduates (for full-time opportunities), 2027 and 2028 graduates (for summer internships) feel free to apply.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and data management. Ability to take a structured approach to completing tasks while providing proactive status updates.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional experience utilizing email and Microsoft Teams chat.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels and work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with contract lifecycle management software

Target Salary Range
The rate / range per hour below represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
