Reef's team is currently involved in some of the most prominent development transactions in Utah and other targeted geographies across the United States.Reef has partnered with a growing restaurant group led by James Beard Award Winning Chef Galen Zamarra located in the heart of Park City, Utah, an internationally renowned ski destination. Together, we have developed two new concepts: a 100 seat brasserie and bar (Le Depot Brasserie) and a French pastry & coffee shop (Union Patisserie).Position Summary: Under the supervision of our Executive Chef, the Pantry Cook/Garde Manger position is an entry level role to the kitchen, responsible for the prep and plating for hot and cold appetizers, salads, and raw bar including opening oysters and other shellfish for our outlets, including Le Depot French Brasserie and Union Patisserie. During service, this team member will work with the pastry team plating desserts.Qualifications: The successful candidate will be a great team player as well as possessing the ability to complete their individual tasks in a timely manner. We value hardworking team members that show an innate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and willingness to learn. Ideal candidates have relevant restaurant experience. Experience and knowledge of French cuisine is a plus.Work Experience: 1+ years of restaurant experience is desiredEducation: Degree in Culinary Arts is preferredRequired Skills:Must speak and read English and have the legal ability to work in the United StatesMust provide your own kitchen tools/ knivesMust have Department of Health CertificationPhysical Requirements:Most work tasks are performed indoors with some outdoor activitiesRequires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.Ability to stand for long hours and lift 50lbs.
