Steel Tube Mill Operator


RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Perform start-up and setup of the mill including adjustments during the run
  • Operate Hi-Lo & Crane safely and in accordance with MIOSHA and company standards
  • Performs weld checks and test
  • Properly sets up mill for forming and welding tubing
  • Ensures proper alignment and thickness of the coil
  • Performs preventative maintenance on the machine
  • Conducts troubleshooting of the mill

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior steel tube mill experience preferred
  • Will train the right candidate
  • Manufacturing experience required
  •           Great attendance and work history

·          PAY AND SHIFT TIMES:

  • Pay is based on experience up to $28.50
  • Shifts
    • 1st shift: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
    • 2nd shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
    • 3rd shift: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am
  • Shift premium for 2nd & 3rd shift
  • Overtime (including weekends) may be required and are mandatory when scheduled

This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Mill Operations team and reports to the Mill Operations Supervisor and Manager.
