Continuous Improvement Manager
The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and the Zobele Production System (ZPS) to improve plant performance, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role drives continuous improvement initiatives, develops and coaches cross-functional teams, leads Kaizen events, and promotes a culture of operational excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams in implementing the Zobele Production System (ZPS) and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Develop and execute continuous improvement strategies to improve productivity, quality, safety, and operational performance.
  • Organize and lead Kaizen events and Lean workshops across manufacturing and support functions.
  • Train and coach employees on Lean principles, Practical Problem Solving (PPS), and continuous improvement tools.
  • Drive plant-wide process improvements using Lean methodologies, including 5S, TPM, SMED, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Visual Management.
  • Measure, monitor, and report key manufacturing performance indicators to ensure sustainable improvements.
  • Coordinate continuous improvement efforts with Engineering, Product Development, Supply Chain, Quality, and other global manufacturing sites.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.

Education:
  • Technical University Degree.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.

Specific Knowledge:
  • Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, SMED, TPM, Standard Work, and Visual Management.
  • Manufacturing process analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Process mapping and business process improvement.
  • Manufacturing KPI analysis and performance management.
  • SAP experience is a plus.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence and coach employees at all organizational levels.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English.
