Food manufacturer is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager.


Responsibilities

  • Manage continuous improvement activities in manufacturing plant
  • Contribute to production planning and budgeting and long range planning
  • Focus operation on continuous improvement
  • Lead and monitor quality assessments to ensure optimal operation
  • Champion a safe production environment
  • Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders


Qualifications

  • Minimum BA/BS, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of continuous improvement management experience
  • Prefer six sigma black belt certification, but will consider green belts who can obtain a black belt
  • USDA/FDA meat or frozen food experience preferred
  • Experience managing in large operations
  • Strong organizational and managerial skills
