IT Intern

Pay: $28/hr 

Position Duration: May 2027 – July 2027 

Position Location: Arden Hills, MN 

The Land O'Lakes Technology Internship brings your education to life by providing hands-on experience applying technology and data solutions to real business challenges. As a member of our Technology organization, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful work, and gain exposure to how technology drives innovation across the Land O'Lakes businesses. 

  • Be embedded on a technology team and own a meaningful project in a focus area such as Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Visualization, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, Integration & Automation, Infrastructure, or Cybersecurity. 

  • Gain experience with enterprise technology platforms, tools, and development practices while building technical skills that translate to the workplace. 

  • Develop business acumen by partnering with cross-functional teams and learning how technology enables business outcomes across Land O'Lakes. 

  • Build your professional network through mentorship, networking events, and a collaborative intern project with peers across the organization. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or Analytics, Cybersecurity, MIS, Mathematics, or a related discipline, with sophomore standing or higher (junior preferred) 

  • Ability to work from Arden Hills, MN campus for duration of 11-week internship (in office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week) 

  • Strong communication skills 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • GPA of 3.0 or above 

  • Strong interest in learning new tools and technologies 

  • Demonstrates curiosity and courage to ask questions 

  • Ability to collaborate to meet goals and objectives 

  • Applies problem-solving skills to overcome challenges
