Centrav Inc. is currently seeking a qualified IT Support Specialist to be responsible for providing help desk support to end-users including support for hardware, software, telephone and other equipment/systems.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, enthusiastic and has a team-first mentality. If you have a passion to help others and love technology this may be a great role. Objectives of this role: Document and provide support to requests for technical support on company hardware, software and network issues according to help desk service standards and escalating to IT staff or 3rd party when necessary.

Respond to support requests via phone, email, in-person or through remote access. Monitor ticket queue for new requests and resolve within established SLAs. Assist in maintaining department inventory in regard to intake, organization, and procurement requests.

Maintain the integrity of Dell, LG, and Apple and other computers and devices through upgrades, support and new technology deployments. Set up company computers and devices according to defined configuration standards and rollout as new or replacements. Effectively communicate technical information to all levels of employees.

Perform additional tasks and participate in various projects as assigned by IT/Technology Manager. Provide IT on-boarding and training for new employees. Experience and Skills Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science and/or technology industry certifications preferred.

2+ years customer service experience in an IT help desk or related role. Motivated self-started. Must be organized and possess technical written and verbal communication skills.

Good working knowledge of current technology. Basic understanding of Ethernet and TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP. Good troubleshooting skills of current Windows (7, 10) and Mac operating systems.

Working knowledge of help desk software, databases and remote-control programs. Must have exceptional customer service skills, personality, a service mindset, and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot and multi-task Ability to work with extreme attention to detail Able to interact and work with others as part of a team and understand how his/her work supports the overall organizational goals.
