Job description

Together, you and your team will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices.
We are looking for engineers who are passionate about Architectural Models. You will be responsible for the pre-silicon functional and performance modeling of our industry leading low power GPUs. This includes developing detailed models of the architectural and micro-architectural aspects of various blocks and IPs in the GPU and how they operate within the broader GPU design.
Description
As a Graphics (GPU) Architectural Modeling Engineer, you will:
- Help creating architectural models for the development, validation, and verification of graphics processing unit (GPU) design.
- Contribute to architectural models for hardware/software (HW/SW) co-validation.
- Contribute to architectural models for performance validation and correlation.
- Support GPU hardware and software teams during model and design bring-up.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Computer Graphics.
Understanding of Computer Memory Hierarchy.
Understanding of Computer Architecture.
Familiar with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Perl.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with C++ Programming.
Knowledge of Computer Architecture.
Minimum of BS degree.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,300 and $194,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
