How much do entry level commission sales jobs pay per year?

As of Jul 20, 2026, the average yearly pay for entry level commission sales in Raleigh, NC is $61,673.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $45,700.00 and $73,400.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

Entry level commission sales roles, such as car or real estate sales, can potentially pay $4,000 or more per week through commissions, especially for high-performing agents. Success depends on sales skills, product demand, and commission structures, with some individuals earning this level of income without a degree. Strong communication, negotiation skills, and industry knowledge are essential for achieving high earnings in these roles.

Can you make $500,000 a year in sales?

Entry level commission sales roles typically do not generate $500,000 in annual income, as earnings depend on sales volume, commission rates, and industry. High earnings are usually achieved with extensive experience, a strong client base, and high-value sales, often in specialized or high-demand markets. Most entry-level positions focus on building skills and sales pipelines rather than immediate high income.

What are entry level commission sales jobs?

Entry level commission sales jobs are positions designed for individuals who are new to sales and typically have little or no prior experience in the field. These roles involve selling products or services and earning income primarily through commissions, which are payments based on the amount of sales made. Employees may receive a base salary or rely solely on commissions, depending on the employer. The goal of these jobs is to develop sales skills, build a client base, and meet or exceed sales targets. Training and mentorship are often provided to help new hires succeed and grow within the company.

How can I make $2000 a week working from home?

Entry level commission sales roles can potentially earn $2000 or more per week by building a strong client base, developing sales skills, and consistently closing high-value deals. Success depends on product demand, commission structure, and individual effort, often requiring excellent communication and persistence. Achieving this income level typically involves working full-time and leveraging digital tools for remote sales.

What are some common challenges faced by entry-level commission sales professionals, and how can they overcome them?

Entry-level commission sales professionals often face challenges such as building a client base from scratch, handling rejections, and maintaining motivation during slow sales periods. Success in this role requires resilience, strong communication skills, and consistent follow-up with leads. Proactively seeking mentorship from experienced colleagues, setting clear goals, and celebrating small wins can help overcome these hurdles. Additionally, leveraging CRM tools and attending team meetings can provide valuable support and learning opportunities.

Is a $100 commission job worth it?

Entry level commission sales jobs can be worth it if the commission structure offers potential for high earnings and the individual has strong sales skills. Earnings depend on sales volume, product demand, and commission rates, so a $100 commission per sale may be beneficial if sales are frequent and the job provides training and support. However, income can be inconsistent and should be evaluated based on personal sales ability and job expectations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Entry Level Commission Sales representative, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Entry Level Commission Sales representative, you need strong interpersonal skills, a persuasive communication style, and a basic understanding of sales principles, typically supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and point-of-sale (POS) systems is often required. Outstanding active listening, resilience, and a results-driven mindset help individuals excel in this role. These skills and qualities are essential for building client relationships, meeting sales targets, and adapting to the fast-paced, competitive nature of commission-based environments.
