The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Recruiter (known internally as Talent Acquisition Specialist), based in Madison, WI within our Cancer Diagnostics division. This division was established through Abbott's acquisition of Exact Sciences in March 2026, bringing together Abbott's global diagnostics infrastructure with Exact Sciences' cancer screening expertise to advance early cancer detection and improve patient outcomes.

This individual will own full life-cycle recruiting - sourcing, hiring leader consultation, interviews, and offers - partnering closely with leaders and HR Business Partners to anticipate hiring needs and build proactive, cost-effective sourcing strategies.

This role supports our clinical lab operations, one of the highest-volume, highest-impact areas of our business. You'll be recruiting the teams that keep cancer screening tests moving and helping hire talent that directly enables faster answers for patients. It's fast-paced work suited to someone who thrives on managing a high volume of requisitions without losing precision or candidate experience.

  • Fosters strong relationships with all stakeholders and delivers exceptional service.
  • Keeps management updated throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Innovates sourcing and evaluation methods to build a diverse candidate pool.
  • Ensures accurate record-keeping within the applicant tracking system.
  • Oversees relationships with external partners for specialized recruitment needs.
  • Aims to enhance recruitment metrics and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Represents the company at recruitment events.
  • Supports company and regulatory standards, including QMS and EMS compliance.
  • Engages in effective communication and teamwork across the organization.
  • Analyzes HR data to inform decision-making and recruitment strategies.
  • Undertakes recruitment projects and additional tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum professional experience : 2+ years agency or in-house TA experience
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience of filling entry level to mid-level roles
  • Proven track record of delivering significant candidate pools in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Expertise in creating targeted job postings and leveraging social networks to attract and develop candidates up to the point of offer acceptance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Functional experience : Full-cycle recruitment experience in healthcare or in adjacent industries and across main functions : commercial, manufacturing, scientific, and corporate function
  • Strong technical aptitude, data analysis and storytelling skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 - $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
