As an Entry Level Employee

You'll Do:

  • Work in a variety of areas which may include sorting, stacking, and piling lumber
  • Handling and lifting materials
  • Operate production equipment as assigned
  • Assist other processing workers
  • Assist with the routine maintenance and cleaning of the sawmill equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and promptly reporting any malfunctions or issues to the team.
  • Other general labourer responsibilities
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Strict adherence to company safety standards and follow Safe work practices such as Lock-out, Pre-task hazard assessments, etc.
  • Standing for extended periods

You have:

  • Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Availability to perform day and night shifts as needed
  • Good physical condition
  • Ability to work repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work as a positive team member
  • Strong commitment to follow all safety guidelines and protocols, wearing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and taking precautions to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Reliable and Excellent work ethic
  • Desire to learn, grow and succeed
  • No experience required
