BBA is currently seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer tojoin a Canadian-wide team that offers high-quality expertise and consultingservices. As a senior engineer, you'll support the growth of the local team byleading projects in the advanced fuels and chemicals (AFC) and oil and gassectors as well as build and strengthen client relationships. You'll also playa key role to help develop the local team through mentoring and knowledgesharing.

  • Help develop and scale up processes and projects in the oil and gas, advanced fuels and chemicals sectors
  • Work closely on projects with our national and international teams, contributing to a shared bottom-line
  • Support growth in Western Canada by driving business development opportunities, leveraging your network to generate proposals, delivering presentations to new clients and building strong relationships by consistently providing high-quality work
  • Lead and support the AFC process team in executing projects across various industry sectors, managing both single- and multidisciplinary mandates of varying sizes
  • Lead and support the AFC process team by organizing, preparing and reviewing process engineering deliverables such as mass and energy balances using simulation software; developing process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and technical specifications for process equipment; and
  • completing technical and economic studies
  • Participate in risk assessment studies (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, What-if)
