Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Buyer to support procurement activities for Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division in Mentor, OH. This onsite role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, parts, equipment, and services of limited scope and complexity. The Buyer will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure best value, quality, and timely delivery.


Key Responsibilities
  • Source and procure materials, parts, equipment, and services in support of manufacturing operations

  • Identify purchasing requirements and select qualified suppliers

  • Initiate and manage purchase orders; coordinate delivery schedules

  • Support competitive bidding, supplier negotiations, and cost analysis

  • Maintain supplier relationships and resolve basic procurement issues

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and applicable regulations

  • Analyze pricing, discounts, and cost breakdowns to support purchasing decisions

  • Utilize ERP/MRP and purchasing systems (e.g., MRP, EDI)

  • Research data, prepare recommendations, and support continuous improvement initiatives

  • Respond to internal and external inquiries related to purchasing activities


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Entry-level or early-career professional; internships or limited industry experience acceptable

  • Basic knowledge of purchasing, sourcing, and negotiation principles
