Job description

Reporting to the VP Corporate Business Development, your role is to position Hutchinson and develop business on new products related to the Group expertise: Fluid & thermal management, sealing, noise and vibration reduction, power transmission, structure and protection.  In a context with many potential opportunities, your objective is to focus on products and technologies with the higher value creation potential for Hutchinson.

Therefore, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • For the market you will be involved in, develop and maintain the North American strategic roadmap, including market analysis, competitive landscape, barriers to entry, product strategy, pricing, profitability, and timelines.
  • Promote Hutchinson's expertise and identify new business and innovation opportunities with customers 
  • Build and manage customer relationships across engineering, program and purchasing teams, engaging internal R&I and relevant stakeholders as needed. 
  • Generate RFQ and follow the Hutchinson proposal submission
  • Identify, propose, and help structure strategic partnerships with third parties when relevant. 
  • Provide regular KPI-based reporting on business activities and outcomes to support management decision-making

Your profile

Graduated from an Engineering or Business School / University.

Proven sales and technical background in the industrial and mobility sectors, with a strong interest in technology and international exposure

Strong business acumen and analytical skills to assess opportunities and risks in emerging value chains, combined with the ability to build effective working relationships
