Business Operations Coordinator (Entry-Level) 


VersaFile is a fast-growing software company that specializes in attachment and data archiving solutions for SAP, SuccessFactors and other Enterprise Software applications, seamlessly integrating with a variety of document management systems. Our clean core approach empowers enterprises to manage their SAP data lifecycle more efficiently and compliantly.  
 

Position Overview:   

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Business Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a true entry-level opportunity designed for a recent university graduate or a candidate with internship or co-op experience, who’s interested in gaining hands-on exposure across multiple areas of business operations.  

In this role, you will support day-to-day initiatives across Operations, Finance, Marketing, Services Delivery and Sales. Your primary objective will be to help streamline, improve, automate, and coordinate tasks that support the efficiency and scalability of the business. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, organized, proactive and eager to learn how different business functions work together.  

You will gain exposure to a variety of different projects and responsibilities that can help shape your long-term career path in business operations, professional services, project coordination, marketing, finance, or strategy.  


This role will have you working out of our Gastown office 3 days a week.  

What You’ll Do: 

  • Support day-to-day operational and administrative business activities 
  • Assist with improving workflows, documentation and internal processes 
  • Assist with project management and delivery for our SAP Professional Services Team 
  • Help identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies 
  • Coordinate and maintain spreadsheets, reports and business tracking tools 
  • Support finance-related administrative tasks such as time-tracking and invoice support and data organization 
  • Assist with Sales support activities and lead tracking 
  • Support marketing initiatives including research, coordination and campaign administration 
  • Conduct research and gather business insights to support leadership decision-making 
  • Assist with preparing presentations, reports and internal documentation 
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure projects and tasks are progressing effectively 
  • Take ownership of smaller operational projects and process improvements 

 
Who You’ll Be:  

  • Recent graduate with a degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Operations or a related field 
  • Internship, co-op, campus leadership or part-time office experience is considered an asset 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, presentations and business systems 
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a wiliness to learn 
  • Self-starter who is proactive and resourceful 

What Skills You’ll Have 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) 
  • Familiarity with project management tools or other business software like a CRM is an asset 
  • Exposure to SAP products is a nice-to-have 
  • Interest in operations, process improvement and business strategy
