Job description

Hudspeth is seeking hardworking and dependable Scaffold Laborers to support commercial and industrial construction projects throughout Colorado. This is an entry-level, hands-on position responsible for assisting scaffold crews with material handling, site preparation, scaffold assembly support, and general labor duties while learning the scaffold trade.
This role is ideal for individuals who are motivated to work in construction, learn a skilled trade, and build a long-term career with opportunities for advancement into Scaffold Builder and Lead positions.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Assist scaffold crews with the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffold systems
  • Carry, lift, stage, and organize scaffold materials and components
  • Load and unload frames, braces, planks, guardrails, and related equipment
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Assist with installing scaffold components under supervision
  • Follow directions from Lead Builders and Supervisors
  • Support crew productivity and daily project operations
  • Communicate safety concerns or job site hazards immediately
  • Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements at all times
Qualifications
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Ability to work safely in construction and industrial environments
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand, climb, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
  • Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
  • Willingness to learn scaffold building and safety procedures
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification
  • Fall Protection training
  • Construction or general labor experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills
  • Interest in advancing into Scaffold Builder or leadership roles
