Job description

Join a growing, employee-focused manufacturer that's leading the industry in smart water meter technology. You'll complete the final production process by labeling finished water meters, documenting completed units using a computer, activating cellular connectivity, and cross training in multiple assembly processes. If you have at least a year of production or assembly experience, are comfortable using a computer and Excel daily, and enjoy detailed, hands-on work, you'll be set up for success.

 Production Technician Duties:
  • Perform hand assembly of water meters using detailed instructions and assembly processes.
  • Place barcodes, sensors, seals, and locks onto water meters using fine motor skills. This includes using UV-activated glue and urethane during assembly.
  • Cross train and learn all assembly processes as needed.
  • Some departments will use a computer throughout the shift for production documentation, Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking, and email to activate cellular data using the company network.
 Schedule: Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
 
Pay: $20 per hour

Production Technician Requirements:
  • 1 year of professional experience using a computer daily 
  • 1 year of production or assembly experience preferred
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs. with or without accommodations
  • Ability to use MS Excel proficiently
