In this role, you'll support a variety of production and assembly processes, including computer work, detailed hands-on assembly, and preparing finished products. Job Duties – Production Technician
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Use a computer throughout most of the shift to document completed water meters
  • Use email to activate cellular data through Verizon’s network
  • Apply barcodes to finished water meters
  • Use UV-activated glue and urethane to attach sensors to water meters
  • Assemble boards, including batteries and plastic components
  • Perform detailed assembly work requiring good fine motor skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Cross-train and learn various assembly processes as needed
  • Handle and move materials as needed throughout the production process
Schedule: Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
 
Pay: $20 per hour

Production Technician Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of professional experience using a computer in a work environment
  • Previous production or assembly experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing hands-on assembly work
  • Good fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Comfortable using email and basic computer systems
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs. with or without accommodations
  • Ability to learn and perform multiple assembly processes
