Responsibilities - Assemble electronic and mechanical components with precision, sometimes using a microscope to handle intricate parts. - Apply 5S and lean manufacturing principles to maintain a safe, organized work area and reduce production bottlenecks. - Adhere to strict quality standards, ensuring each assembly meets or exceeds company expectations. - Participate actively in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance production processes. - Accurately document non-conformances and support root-cause analysis. - Process cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies efficiently. - Pick inventory parts to fulfill manufacturing and customer requirements. - Assist in packaging large instruments for shipment using established protocols. - Work effectively in a clean room environment. - Write engineering change requests to address production or documentation issues. - Perform other assigned duties to support overall production goals.
