As an entry-level architect, you will primarily support project teams by assisting with drafting, creating models, preparing presentation materials, and conducting research on building codes and materials. While direct client interaction is usually limited at this stage, you may attend meetings to take notes or observe the process, which helps you learn how to translate client needs into design solutions. Over time, as you gain experience and demonstrate your abilities, your responsibilities and opportunities for client engagement will increase. Working closely with senior architects and other team members is common, and collaboration is key to learning and growing in the field.

These roles often involve working under the supervision of licensed architects, assisting with drafting, modeling, research, and project documentation. These positions provide foundational experience and are a first step toward becoming a licensed architect.
