Job description

Electrical Engineer I is an entry-level professional responsible for supporting engineering tasks under close supervision. This role provides exposure to the design, analysis, and implementation of MEP-T systems for various projects. While client interaction is limited, the position may involve basic correspondence and participation in meetings with senior engineers. Success in this role depends on producing accurate, timely work that supports overall project delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of MEP-T systems using Revit and discipline- specific modeling/calculation software.
  • Perform basic calculations and simulations under guidance.
  • Assist in reviewing product submittals and shop drawings.
  • Draft initial responses to RFIs for review by senior staff.
  • Conduct site visits under supervision to assess project progress.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation.
  • Participate in internal project meetings, offering technical support as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends and MEP engineering advancements.
  • Complete assigned work within project workplan timeframes.
  • Submit work for review by senior engineers before client delivery.
Qualifications

Education & Licensure

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. 
  • EIT certification preferred or in progress.
Experience
  • Entry level.
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and building systems.
Leadership & Management Skills
  • Reliable, accountable, and receptive to feedback.
  • Ability to follow directions and learn new concepts quickly.
