Job Description:

Work with IC design, field applications, factory applications and marketing communications to ensure the timely, and successful, launch of new products into the marketplace.

Drive customer communication including: building customer relationships, competitor analysis, product features and future business.. Furthermore, the PME needs to have input to product data sheets and applications support materials.

Work with all inquiries for MPS products from our field sales, applications engineers and customers via telephone or electronic communication.


Essential Functions:

  • New Product definition: translate feedback from customers and market trends into requirements for design team
  • Product launch.
  • Pricing.
  • Competitive analysis.
  • Market Research: Identify growing markets, potential products and features that fit given applications, quantify the business case
  • Troubleshooting issues and problems.
  • Communication with sales team: build relationships, align on short term and long term growth strategy, train the sales team on new product promotion
  • Promotion of the products through advertising, editorials, written articles and other collateral materials (such as data sheets, data books, brochures, selection guides, etc.).
  • Drive marketing/promotion materials with technical understanding of how MPS product features translate to customer application benefits.
  • Visit customers to build relationships, promote products, negotiate pricing, extract market trends and requirements
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Assist in go to market strategy to accelerate and gain share.
  • Drive technology roadmap execution to clearly meet market needs going forward.

Qualifications:

  • Responsibilities include identifying and developing future business in the Telecommunications, Consumer, Industrial and Automotive market segments.
  • Specific emphasis on interconnect and accelerator applications preferred
  • Internship experience in Marketing / Applications within an Analog IC Company
  • BSEE or higher preferred
