Job description

Instructor, Sports & Exercise Science F1286A

The Department of Sports & Exercise Science is seeking applications for a continuing position to serve as a faculty member.ย This position is a full-time, non-tenure track appointment beginning August, 2026. ย Teaching responsibilities include the following courses nutrition, motor learning, strength training, care and prevention of athletic injuries, leadership and coaching, applied anatomy and kinesiology, facility management, health, wellness, and any other course that aligns with the applicantโ€™s background and experience.ย  Additional duties include advisement of students, program assessment, clinical supervision of students, and participation in university and community-related events.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:ย 

Masters degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, Allied Health or related field.ย  Candidates must possess a collegial attitude and share concern for student success.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:ย 

Preference will be given to candidates with a Doctorate in Exercise Science, Health Science, Allied Health, or a related field. ย Candidate should have a strong academic background and a documented record of prior university teaching experience and/or professional involvement in the discipline.

SALARY RANGE:ย 

Starting salary $40,000.
