Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Regularly performs the duties and responsibilities of the Visitor Management Representative. 2. Makes individual work assignments and oversees the daily operation of visitor check in all functional entrances on campus.3. Coordinate training for staff on Visitor Management processes and conduct follow up training as needed.4. Ensure that staffing levels are adequate for each shift of the Visitor Management process. 5. Provide all needed information being captured within the visitor management system; follow up and provide corrective actions with Manager, as needed. 6. Performs investigation of events or situations concerning adverse or potentially adverse patient/visitor outcomes with relevant Supervisor(s), Manager(s) and staff.7. Provide administrative and technical support for the visitor management staff, which may include support of the fast pass information systems, safety, training and education. 8. Monitors staff compliance in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident per hospital policy.9. Coordinate with other departments / leaders, as needed, to resolve any issues related to Visitor Management

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

1. Associate degree in related field or two (2 ) years of experience in a leadership role.2. Two (2) years in a healthcare or customer service-related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suiteKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED1. Bachelor's degree in a related field2. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.3. Ability to present information clearly to a wide variety of audiences.4. Ability to follow oral instructions.5. Ability to work without close supervision.6. Ability to operate necessary equipment / machines.
