Overview
As an entry level role, the AI Developer's role is to develop and enhance in-house software applications or extensions by coding with a technical language to meet business requirements and business objectives. This can include taking technical specifications and developing an application or integration of data between applications, testing, as well as, completing the appropriate technical documentation. The developer may also be responsible for delivering support to end users in the organization for specific code, including troubleshooting code.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, implement, and support software applications
  • Drive technical validity of solution.
  • Develop user documentation as well as in-code documentation to explain designs and participate/support user training
  • Obtain any certifications needed to effectively support applications in scope
  • Support the development of business and technical process documentation and training materials
  • Structure requirements to facilitate automation of acceptance tests
  • Provide support for software applications under area of responsibility
  • Participate in Agile teams
  • Drive Behavior-Driven-Design (BDD) process
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 2+ years' relevant work experience in an analytical capacity, or equivalent experience
  • Foundational experience with Databricks-based AI or agent development
  • Python programming skills
  • Exposure to LLMs, RAG, and multi-step AI workflows
  • Basic understanding of Databricks AI/ML capabilities
  • Ability to integrate data, APIs, and enterprise systems into AI solutions

Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to CI/CD and deployment practices
  • Familiarity with supply chain or SAP-related business processes
  • Understanding of AI evaluation and response quality checks

Physical Demands
  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
