Job description
A successful candidate for this tenure-track position will conduct and disseminate research in an area that complements and expands existing expertise in the department, will demonstrate a strong commitment to training the next generation of occupational therapists, and will seek external funding to support research.
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate coursework in OT programs. Teaching load expectation is 4 courses per academic year. Student advising is part of teaching.
- Scholarship to support a defined program of research with ongoing dissemination.
- Service activities within the Department, University, community, and occupational therapy profession.
- PhD or research doctorate in occupational therapy, occupational science or related field. PhD Candidates who anticipate completion of the degree by the position start date are eligible to apply.
- Defined program of scholarship supported by at least one refereed publication and others in process.
- For candidates with Occupational Therapy background, a strong occupation-focused philosophy and eligibility for NBCOT certification and NH state OT license
- Past teaching experience and demonstration of teaching competence
