THE JOB
Venue Nation is seeking a Parking Supervisor at Mystic Lake Amphitheater. The Parking Supervisor is a working supervisor who is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the parking staff within the venue. Duties may also include management functions.
This role is a Part-Time Seasonal Position.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Under the direction of the Parking Manager, assist in making sure all parking areas are safe, clean, and orderly. Also assists in maximizing the space usage of all parking areas.

  • Direct and supervise parking staff and other employees performing parking services as directed by the Parking Manager.

  • Provide guest services by greeting and assisting guests and responding to guest inquiries and complaints.

  • On an ongoing basis lead and train staff to include assisting in staffing positions to ensure that all staff members are well-informed on event specific details.

  • Assist with managing breaks.

  • Assist the Parking Manager to ensure compliance with all parking department and venue policies and procedures to include all safety regulations.

  • Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.

  • Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up, and properly storing event equipment such as cones, parking barriers, Etc.

  • Oversee productivity and work assignments of the parking staff and communicate with the Parking Manager (or designated Manager) about any challenges and status of all assignments prior to the conclusion of the shift.

  • Other tasks as assigned by the Parking or Operations Manager.

  • Assign and schedule team members to specific duties.

  • Role model and enforce safety, health, parking, and security priorities.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • At least 2 years in Guest Service and/or a similar role

  • Creative problem-solving skills, excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy

  • A keen sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs

  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting
