Position Summary:

The Manager, Entertainment Operations & Enrichment is responsible for the execution and management of fleet-wide enrichment, entertainment and destination programming, ensuring alignment with brand standards, guest expectations and itinerary requirements.

This role supports the day-to-day operations of the Entertainment department, ensuring shipboard teams are effectively supported, onboarded and set up for success. A key focus is the planning, coordination and delivery of activities, events and enrichment programming across the fleet.

Working closely with shipboard and shoreside teams, the Manager ensures programming is well-structured, communicated and delivered to a high standard, while maintaining operational efficiency across talent management, systems and pre-cruise planning.

Employees may be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management. All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with the Company's Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.


Entertainment and Enrichment Management

  • Curate and manage fleet-wide enrichment, activities and event programming, including World Cruise and themed cruises
  • Develop and coordinate destination-focused, culturally relevant guest experiences aligned with itinerary and brand
  • Source, recruit and manage a strong, brand-aligned roster of guest speakers and enrichment talent
  • Oversee the guest entertainer program and delivery in partnership with RWS Global
  • Oversee the structure and quality of onboard activities and events, ensuring variety, balance and consistency across the fleet
  • Monitor and support onboard teams in delivering engaging, well-executed programming aligned with brand standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Hotel Operations, shipboard teams, Marketing and other shoreside departments to align programming and delivery
  • Act as the central coordination point between shipboard teams and shoreside departments for enrichment, activities and entertainment programming
  • Provide direction, guidance and troubleshooting support to onboard teams across programming and operations
  • Prepare and distribute pre-cruise briefings, including bios, lecture schedules, activity programming and event details
  • Ensure all programming is clearly communicated, structured and aligned with shipboard teams ahead of each voyage to meet delivery expectations
  • Provide ongoing operational support and guidance to shipboard teams
  • Plan and coordinate cast installs in partnership with RWS and internal stakeholders
  • Oversee ordering of equipment, supplies and program materials
  • Track repairs, maintenance and technical requirements, ensuring all deliverables are communicated to shipboard teams in advance
  • Monitor EOVs, guest feedback and operational reporting to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in program delivery and guest engagement
  • Support day-to-day administrative and operational requirements across the Entertainment function


Financials & Administration

  • Own contracting, fees, travel approvals and communication for all enrichment and guest entertainer talent
  • Support budget tracking and ensure programming is delivered within agreed financial parameters
  • Oversee invoicing processes and submission into NetSuite for all entertainment-related expenses
  • Oversee AirTable and related systems to ensure programming, talent and scheduling data is accurate, aligned and consistently used across the fleet
  • Oversee MXP to ensure effective inventory management, ordering and tracking entertainment supplies and materials across the fleet
  • Ensure consistency in system usage and data accuracy across shipboard and shoreside teams


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years' experience in Cruise Line Entertainment operations.
  • Proven experience managing programming, talent coordination and operational delivery within a cruise or entertainment environment
  • Shipboard experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and data entry skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AirTable, and other scheduling/booking platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong understanding of onboard programming, activities and guest experience delivery
  • Experience working with shipboard teams and external talent/agencies
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in cost control, vendor coordination, and inventory oversight.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of proactiveness.
  • Ability to travel internationally when required
