Job description

HyperLight is at the forefront of the commercialization of thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) integrated photonics - a material and process technology that is enabling high-performance, scalable optical components across AI/datacom infrastructure, hyperscale computing, quantum computing, sensing, and beyond. Founded in 2018 and backed by leading venture capital, we've built a team and a platform focused on real-world mass deployment of TFLN photonics technology.

At the core of our work is the TFLN Chiplet platform - a modular, integrated architecture designed for scalability, manufacturability, and seamless integration into complex systems. It offers a rare combination of extraordinary performance and industrial readiness, enabling system developers across applications to deploy the technology fast and ready. We partner with our customers and suppliers from conceptualization, design, and prototyping phases, all the way through mass production to ensure smooth and rapid deployment of TFLN photonic technology.

We believe our platform is the key, in the golden age of integrated photonics, to empower humanity to the next level. We assembled a world class team covering engineering, business, and operations. We believe in the power of integrity, innovation, collaboration, and pragmatic solutions. Our diverse team thrives on challenges and is united by a shared commitment to excellence. We take pride in tackling complex challenges with curiosity, humility, and a deep sense of care for one another.

Our growing team is looking for an Enterprise Applications Engineer to join us. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of enterprise systems, workflow automation, collaboration platforms, and semiconductor manufacturing operations. We are seeking an engineer to support and enhance internal business systems, collaboration platforms, and workflow automation solutions across the organization. This role will primarily focus on Microsoft technologies including SharePoint, Power Platform, Power BI, and workflow automation solutions, while also supporting enterprise applications such as NetSuite. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency through automation and process improvements
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI and other analytics platforms to support business operations and decision-making
  • Support data integration and synchronization between enterprise applications and databases
  • Contribute to enterprise data governance, security controls, compliance, and operational best practices
  • Troubleshoot application, workflow, and integration issues while ensuring reliability and user satisfaction
  • Document system architecture, workflows, processes, and operational procedures
  • Identify opportunities to streamline business processes through automation and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting enterprise applications, workflow automation, or business systems
  • Strong experience with Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft 365
  • Experience designing and implementing workflow automation and collaboration solutions
  • Experience with enterprise applications such as NetSuite or similar ERP systems
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar BI platforms
  • Experience with database systems and SQL for reporting, integration, and analytics
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Familiarity with semiconductor, manufacturing, or hardware-related business environments
    • Hands-on experience administering or supporting NetSuite ERP
    • Experience developing SharePoint intranet, document management, or collaboration portals
    • Experience integrating enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, or automation tools
    • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and enterprise collaboration best practices
