Job description

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking to hire astudent assistant, in a learning capacity, under close supervision of the Senior Transportation Engineer, Office of Drainage and Stormwater Management, in a training capacity, the Student Assistant will assist staff in a wide range of services relating to the Field Technical Support (Subdivision). The student assistant will support, in a learning capacity, in a wide range of services related to the Programs. Duties may include but are not limited to providing technical research, clerical duties, editorial feedback and communication support to staff. Candidate will assist in monitoring the overall health of the Department's various assets for compliance with State Senate Bill 1 (SB1), Transportation funding.
