Our precast sector,Strescon Limited, has grown to become the largest pre-stressed concrete manufacturers in Eastern and Central Canada. We service our customers from our Precast and Pipe operations in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario and the New England region of the United States.
In addition to paying our students, OSCO Construction Group covers Co-op fees up to a maximum of $750.ย 
Responsibilities

  • Apply theoretical knowledge to real-life engineering challenges using guidance from company mentors

  • Recognize key issues and expedite solutions for the business and outside clientele as part of a diverse team

  • Develop technical skills by learning from experts within our group of companies

  • Attend project meetings to gain insight on projects and provide support as needed

  • Learn and adhere to quality, safety, and production standards of your chosen business unit

  • Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner when in contact with clients, consultants, and other external stakeholders

  • Effectively utilize technology to optimize productivity and efficiencies within your work

  • Provide assistance to various areas of the team in response to departmental needs

  • Additional sector-specific duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Currently in pursuit of an Undergraduate Engineering degree in either Civil or Mechanical

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential

  • Experience in MS Office software products

  • Ability to read construction drawings would also be considered a strong asset
